Our Spicy New Facility!

At Salsa on the Strip we have had some great reviews from our wonderful customers! Our official opening was almost a month ago and we are so excited to be a part of the Lake of the Ozarks community! In case you haven't been to our establishment yet, this blog is all about introducing you to our place! We have a newly renovated and extremely classy place for you to enjoy your delicious Mexican dishes.  At night our restaurant is bright, flashy and exciting, during the day it is fresh, clean and fun!

The Lower Floor

On the lower floor you will find many TV's, making our place the perfect spot to enjoy the game! Our fun bright decor keeps everything upbeat; we have great windows at the front of the building allowing you to see all of the activity happening on the Bagnell Dam Strip. We also have an outdoor seating area on the lower floor for those days and evenings where it's too nice to stay inside!

The Bar

Our bar area is a fantastic place to hang out with friends and enjoy the beverage of your choice! During the day it's bright and peaceful, but at night it's exciting and the perfect definition of "nightlife".

The Upper Patio

Our upper patio is the perfect place to sit back and drink a cold one from the bar! At night this place is hopping! It's colorful and the atmosphere is open and inviting. This is a FABULOUS place to spend time with your friends.

10 Fun Facts About Bagnell Dam

Salsa on the Strip is a new restaurant at The Lake of the Ozarks, but we want to take a little time to tell you about the oldest attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks! The Bagnell Dam was built in the 1930's, during the depression. While it offered many jobs to people back then who needed them, it offers many jobs and forms of entertainment to people today! The Lake of the Ozarks is famous for its boating, fishing, wake boarding, tubing, beautiful hiking trails, restaurants and fine dining, family activities, wineries, lakeside condos and its all around perfect vacationing spot. So while we're enjoying these fun summer activities today let's look at some of the fun ways it all began.

The Lake of the Ozarks was born in 1931 when Bagnell Dam was completed.

The entire operation of Bagnell Dam is controlled by one man at a computer.

Bagnell Dam is 2,543' long and supports a 20' wide roadway and a 3' sidewalk.

During the Depression of the 1930s, the Bagnell Dam project provided 10,000 jobs and eventually employed 25,000 men over a period of four years to fill those positions.

The Lake of the Ozarks' 1,375 miles of shoreline is longer than the entire state of California.

40 percent of Missourians who own two homes, own one at the Lake of the Ozarks.

There are at least 70,000 boat docks on the lake.

By using the natural energy of falling water, the Osage Energy Center saves our nation about one million barrels of oil or one million tons of coal each year.

The Lake of the Ozarks is the largest privately owned lake in the United States.

During construction 60,000 car loads of materials were hauled to the project site. Placed end to end, the cars would form a train reaching from St. Louis to Chicago and back.

The exciting atmosphere is awesome day or night, the staff are friendly and ready to fix you PERFECT Mexican dish.

Salsa Burrito
This is our classic burrito made to order and ready to be customized!

Burrito Bowl

Same fresh ingredients, same great fillings, just without the tortilla.

3 Tacos
Your choice of hard or soft shells, with corn, wheat or flour tortillas.

Salad Bowl
Starting with a foundation of fresh salad greens, this dish is ready to be topped and filled with all of you favorites!

Nachos
Hot corn or flour chips, lots of cheese and ready to be customized with your favorite toppings. This is a customer favorite!

Local Events

The Lake Race is happening this weekend starting Friday night at 6 PM, with the Street Party, Family Fun area, and the Patrick Lentz Band, and we'd love for you to join us for dinner!

Saturday morning at 11:30, the race ceremonies will start up and the race begins at noon. We can't wait to party with you all this weekend!
